Accommodations in Anchorage include stays at the Hilton Hotel located in downtown Anchorage. Option B - Accommodations in Anchorage at the Oscar Gill House or another local Bed and Breakfast in Anchorage. Day 1 - Your hiking adventure will take you on a journey to experience the awe inspiring backcountry trails of Southcentral Alaska. Our safety certified guides will provide endless information on trees, plants, flowers, wildlife and history of the area. Along the way your guides will point out great places for pictures, and don't be surprised to see many types of wildlife, including eagles, dall sheep, moose, and more. So don't forget to bring the camera and lots of film! We will provide a high energy snack, as well as a hearty lunch. Night in Anchorage. Day 2
Day 3 - Free Day in Seward. Option E - Ocean Fishing Option F - Dog Sledding - Includes Helicopter transfer
Day 4

Day 5 - Your kayaking adventure will take you to the beautiful Prince William Sound, south of Anchorage, just outside of Whittier. Once on the water, glide past waterfalls, visit an active bird rookery, and view breathtaking scenery while making your way to a protected beach. There you will stop for an hour, and beach-comb while your guides prepare a hearty shore lunch. Continue exploring the coastline after lunch and watch for marine wildlife while kayaking back to Whittier. Paddling instruction and safety orientation are also provided for this activity.
Day 6 - Your mountain bike adventure travels along the amazing Eklutna Lake trail offering beautiful scenery, great opportunities for wildlife viewing, and excellent riding. Lunch, a keepsake water bottle and all gear provided.
Day 7
Day 8 - Travel to Matanuska Glacier - Your ice climbing adventure will put you on the spectacular Matanuska Glacier, just two hours north of Anchorage. Don't be a tourist and just take pictures from your car! Get the complete experience on the Glacier!!! You will have qualified instruction in the art of climbing on ice and the technical aspects of using ropes, harnesses, and climbing gear. All necessary gear including crampons, a helmet, harness, rope and ice climbing gear provided. Please tell booking agent your boot size.
Day 9 - Your rafting adventure is a 14 mile trip packed with excitement! With several miles of Class IV rapids and intermittent class III it's an excellent first-timer or experienced rafter whitewater trip. Dry suit and all gear provided.
Day 10
PLEASE NOTE: Minimum group size 2, if you are a one person party, please check on available space. Minimum age 12. Lunch NOT provided on ice climbing or rafting adventure. Hiking boots are required for Ice Climbing. Rental car required for this package. All adventures are guided by permitted guides who are safety certified.
