The
Taku
Taku
- (TAW-COO) is the name of a river near
Juneau, Alaska. The name comes from a Tlingit Indian word meaning
"north wind".
Easy hikes with maximum distance of
9 miles. Altitude gain up to 1,200 feet.
Easy
Hikes/Walks - Lunch and two bottled waters included. Transportation to and
from Anchorage area hotels included. Hike offered Monday - Sunday through
the season.
This short day
hike is on an established trail that provides for good foot placement
and low impact. All Easy Hikes/Walks offer majestic views and
possibility of wildlife. Many offer views of Mt. McKinley, the
Turnagain Arm, and Downtown Anchorage.
Prices are based on number of individuals in your group and include all
