Nanuq -

- Derived from Inuit
meaning "polar bear".
Hikes and climbs with and altitude gain of
over 3,500 feet OR a distance of 15 miles or greater. Peaks in this
classification may require minimal climbing skills.
Lunch and two bottled waters included. Transportation to and from
Anchorage area hotels included. Hike offered by request only.
This
day hike is all about a challenge and ELEVATION! This hike is on
a foot trail that has been established over time by hikers and
animals. Hike provides a fast elevation gain in a short
distance with views worth the effort! Beyond 360 degree panoramic
views on a clear day, your view is only hindered by your own eye
sight! Opportunities to see everything!

hike.**
